Race 1 was fantastic for the Effenbert Liberty Racing Team, which in only five races from the start of the World Superbike Championship, has succeeded in the difficult task of bringing both of his riders on the podium. Smrz and Guintoli run a great race, Sylvain in the initial phase , came out slightly better than tKuba and after the first few corners was already in fourth position, recovering positions in the following laps until he placed himself in the second. Smrz, at the end of the first lap was in seventh place and gradually he put together a series of fast laps that brought him close to the teammate with whom he dueled for a few laps until he overtook him, due to his greater speed. The only rider who has been able to be in front of our riders has been the great Carlos Checa, who was on one of his favorite tracks and ran a perfect race and won his fifth race of the year. The last lap has been very exciting , seeing all the members of the Effenbert Liberty Racing Team gathering at the pit wall to welcome the arrival of the the two bikes on the finish line, both finishing on the podium.
This is the final classification of Race 1, unfortunate for the world champion Max Biaggi, involved in a fall with no consequences with Jonathan Rea:

Race 2 was more difficult, although the results are not entirely despicable. Both riders were able to fight for the positions behind the podium, but unfortunately, because of a slightly less happy start of the morning race and a lack of grip on the rear wheel, Smrz and Guintoli had to play a little on the defense, failing to have the same aggressiveness when overtaking. Sylvain eventually, after a long battle with Melandri and Fabrizio closed in seventh place and Kuba immediately behind him, recovering from the 12th position and having to loose a lot of time, because of the problems described above, behind Sykes certainly Rea who were clearly slower.
It is needless to say that the second race today was dominated by Carlos Checa who was in the lead almost from the second corner to the finish, behind him the two Aprilias of Camier and Biaggi. Overall, however, the day of the Effenbert Liberty Racing Team has been extremely positive, because on top of the satisfaction of having placed both riders on the podium in race 1, (before managed only by the Yamaha in Monza with Laverty and Melandri and matched by Aprilia today, in race 2), the team has scored the highest number of points (53) in one racing day, finally placed both riders in the top ten of the world rankings and has the fifth biggest number of total points scored by a Team (127) currently only behind Yamaha, Aprilia, Ducati and BMW Althea. ... And without the unfortunate crash of Guintoli in Australia, the situation could be much better.
These are the official race 2 results:

Jakub Smrz: I am extremely satisfied today, the team did a great job providing me with an excellent bike that allowed me to reach the second podium of the season, sadly in race two I had problems with the rear wheel and I could not push as I wanted. We will carefully analyze the reasons of this problem but the results remain very positive. Now we go to Misano, a circuit that I like very much and where I already managed a first placement in Superpole and where I am planning to improve even more.
Sylvain Guintoli: I am delighted to have achieved the first podium of my career in Superbikes, I am very happy to have achieved it with this bike and with this team, I could have achieved it even before if I didn ‘t suffer that big crash in Australia that has influenced my results for some races . Now my physical condition is almost optimal and the results could be seen immediately. I thank everyone for their excellent work, I am sorry for not being able to be faster in Race 2, but as also happened to Jakub, the rear tire gave me the feeling of having less grip. I expect interesting performances for the forthcoming races, starting already from Misano, a circuit which definitely suites our bike.
