At the same time that the public were crowding into the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan to see the newly unveiled Diavel, Ducati also sent one bike to Valencia to be on show in the busy MotoGP paddock. The bike attracted massive interest from everyone at the final race of the MotoGP calendar and in particular Ducati MotoGP Team rider, Nicky Hayden.
As the Diavel sent to Valencia was only for static show, Nicky was not able to test the bike, but he did have endless questions about the final tech specs and enthused about the riding position and lightweight feel. With Ducati’s brand new model now set ready to be presented at motorcycle shows around the world, the factory in Bologna, Italy is preparing to start production with first deliveries being made to Ducati stores from late January onwards.
